SEA DAY!
Three days in London, down to Southampton, then 6 ports in the next 6 days and we need a break.

Today was a kick back day. It started with a late breakfast up in the restaurant and then back to the room to work on my pictures and the blog. Judi and I did some reading and some walking around the ship on the outside deck. The weather was cool but not bad. We then met friends in the restaurant for lunch.
The afternoon consisted of some more reading and napping until it was time to get ready for the formal evening. We had a cocktail party with about 100 of the Captains closest friends and then off to dinner.
It is really something to see all the Tux and nice outfits the ladies have on. The formal dinner tonight was Lobster or Beef Wellington. The young man at our table had to try them both. The Lobster Tail came with two large shrimps. For desert they served Baked Alaskan.
After dinner we returned to the cabin and read a little, got ready for tomorrow in Invergordon, Scotland. Then I took another nap out on the balcony. I tell everyone that we are on vacation from retirement.
